The compact box shear installs fast and carries a rugged build, ready to handle jobs from rebar to full auto bodies.

This horizontal shear stays compact, strong, and reliable. It moves and sets up as a single piece, making it a smart choice for small yards, remote sites, or temporary demolition work.

It processes a broad mix of scrap, including sheet metal, aluminum window and door frames, light scrap steel, ELV auto shells, skeletal scrap, rebar, pipe, profiles, and selected HMS.

Composition and Structure

Box Shears Operation

Our compact box shear is easy to install, built tough, and ready to tackle any scrap, from rebar to complete car bodies. Scrap is fed in without interruption (01).
A horizontal stepped hold-down drives the scrap down and forward at the same time, squeezing it tight and keeping it in place for the cut (02).
Next, the horizontal knife moves forward beneath the compression ram. Cutting edges on the knife tip and along the lower edge of the box front wall slice through the metal (03).
As the knife keeps advancing, it pushes the cut pieces clear of the box (04).
