Operating Instruction:

1.Short cable test:

When Cable Tester A & B are used together, they can check connectors and cables listed for the on-off, dislocation, shell colision and other conditionsTurn the power /status switch from "OFf" to "ON-CABLE TESTER" of cable tester A,and to "ON-1~10" of cable tester B. Curently, the power/status lD shows red.

• Plug the two ends of cable into ther on cable tester A & B respectively. When the buzzer sounds, it enters the automatic test status. When theappropriateconnectordetection LED beat in sequence(speed of the beat canbe selected by the speed switch on cable tester B), if only one red detection LED in each row of cable tester A &time, it indicates that the cables are well conneced and there is no dislocation (The quantity of detection LEDB liahts up with the same sequence numpelights in each cycle is determined py the (f the cable to be tested.);
• When the Detection LED on Cable Tester A is off, and on Cable Tester B is on, indicating the corresponding serial number of cable is short circuit.
• lf both sides of the detection LED are not lights up, it means the corresponding pin of socket is open;
• lf the two rows of detection LED on cable tester A and B are misplaced when they are light up,it indicates the corresponding pin of socket is dislocation;
• If the GND LED liohts yo when the detection LED beating in sequence, itindicates the cable with the coresponding serial number is shor+-circuited with the plug shell.

2. Test the HDMl cable (two steps):

First step, test the 1~10 pins according to the operation”1”Second step, turn the power /status switch on the cable tester B to "ON-HDM1 1~19", Then, the power/stgtus lED of cable tester B tums from red to blue. ancstarts to test HDMl 1 1~19 pins automatically after the buzzer sounds, and currently the detection LED are blue.

3. Test the through-wall cable:

When cable tester A and B are placed at the two ends of a cable through the wallrespectively,the condition of the cable can be checked, and the operation issame as test ordinary cable (this operation need two people). Detection distance up to 3000m or more.
