High carbon silicon granule is a new type of alloy, generally called silicon carbon alloy, or high carbon silicon,or high carbon ferro silicon, or HC silicon.

In converter steelmaking, high carbon silicon granule 1-3mm can replace ferrosilicon, silicon carbide, and recarburizer. Reduce the amount of deoxidizer, the effect is stable.
