With the development of computer technology,CAE technology is widely used in the development of new automotive products, in the static and dynamic characteristics of new products analysis has played an important role. This paper is based on the heavy truck cab development project of an enterprise. Aiming at the situation that the first-order global torsion frequency of the heavy truck cab is slightly lower in the modal analysis simulation results, an optimized design scheme for part of its structure is proposed to improve the first-order global torsion frequency of the heavy truck cab. This paper carries out research on the basis of previous related research work. In the process of putting forward the structural optimization design scheme, the mixed finite element model of heavy truck cab beam shell is established firstly, and the door frame area is expressed by beam element, so that the mechanical properties of beam section can be expressed by parameters, which lays the foundation for further analysis, taking the mechanical properties of beam section as the design variable. Then, the modal sensitivity analysis was carried out based on the mechanical characteristics of the beam section in the door frame region of the mixed finite element model. According to the sensitivity analysis results, the sensitive beam element components in the door frame region of the mixed finite element model were found, and the corresponding sensitive region of the detailed finite element model was found and the morphology was optimized. According to the results of morphology optimization, a structural optimization design scheme is proposed. In the proposed structural optimization design scheme, scheme 2 was selected to carry out the analysis of static torsional condition, static bending condition and modal analysis, and verify the optimized design model
