Fixed Base Plate Bollards
When the installed flat floor slab is too shallow for deeper and firmer concrete footings, fixed base plate columns are primarily used. The ground bollard must not be used to stop the vehicle or be used as a peripheral safety application, but must be used as a guide to pedestrian traffic and a deterrent effect on the vehicle.
Fixed base plate bollards are manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel or Type 316 for harsher environments, and the stainless steel is polished to a #4 finish for long-lasting durability.
