Wire-braided hydraulic hoses primarily consist of an oil-resistant synthetic rubber inner tube, one or two layers of high-strength steel wire reinforcement, and an abrasion- and weather-resistant outer cover.

Designed for high-pressure hydraulic systems, they are widely used in construction machinery (such as excavators) as well as metallurgical and mining equipment to convey petroleum-based or water-based hydraulic fluids.

Common standards for these hoses include SAE 100R1/100R2 and EN 853 1SN/2SN.

Pressure range: Typically 40 bar to 400 bar (depending on inner diameter and number of reinforcement layers).

Temperature range: Typically -40°C to +120°C.
