T.AR series thrust bearings in series

T.AR series series thrust bearing is a kind of thrust bearing bearing one-way load:

It consists of two to eight thrust cylindrical roller bearings arranged in series and has a middle ring. An elastic diaphragm system distributes force evenly across each thrust cylindrical roller bearing. The rollers are the tried and tested cylindrical rollers in the catalogue. The cylindrical rollers are guided by a cage. Cages are made of brass, aluminum or nylon. Bearing rings and spacers are made of hardened steel. For high-performance types, bearing rings made of high-performance steel are used. The rotational speed, allowable temperature range and design details of T.AR series series thrust bearings can be found in the quotation diagram.

The basic tandem bearing Fig. 2 is connected with the shaft ring, seat ring and roller cage assembly through elastic gaskets. This type of bearing has a separate structure, and the parts are detachable. It must be carefully installed and disassembled according to the sequence of numbers provided by our company.

Tandem bearing assembly :

When the series bearings produced by our company leave the factory, the serial number is engraved on the bearings. All parts must be assembled in the order specified. The assembler will find the corresponding assembly instructions in the package.

Bearing components are matched to each other with high precision and are therefore not interchangeable in most cases. If the correct arrangement must be followed during assembly, the relevant bearings will be marked accordingly.

Do not use a hammer or other heavy tools when installing or removing bearings .

Bearing layout design :

When designing the thrust bearing arrangement of a gearbox with T.AR series thrust bearings, many factors must be considered in the structural design.

Series bearing preload :

T.AR series thrust bearings in series must bear a preload of 1% of the basic rated dynamic load. As a result, a minimum load can be provided to avoid skidding damage during no-load operation. In addition, it ensures stiffness in the linear range of the characteristic curve. Positioning of the bearing relative to the second axis (cochlear modiole) is simplified.

Series bearing load :

Common loads during extruder operation form the basis for the design of thrust bearings in the T.AR series. The maximum axial load for thrust bearings in the Fa max series is stated on the quotation drawing. Bearings are not allowed to exceed the load during operation.

Series bearing deformation :

For twin-screw extruders, the meshing process clearance between the screws must be guaranteed over the entire operating range. The deformation of the T.AR series series thrust bearing must be observed and matched with the second thrust bearing. This is especially important when using differently designed bearings on the two output shafts.

Series bearing radial guides :

The output shaft is radially guided by radial bearings such as needle roller bearings or SL series single row full cylindrical roller shafts.

Series bearing lubrication :

In order to ensure sufficient heat dissipation and lubrication, T.AR series thrust bearings are lubricated with circulating oil. Lubrication systems are usually equipped with lubricating oil filters and cooling devices.

Series bearing installation fit :

When installing T.AR series thrust bearings, it is recommended that the shaft adopts the fit tolerance of f6, and the bearing housing hole adopts the fit tolerance of F7. In order to distribute the load evenly, the bearing must not be tilted after installation. Strict geometrical tolerances of adjacent structures must also be respected.

The series of bearings have two, three, four, five, six, seven or eight rows, depending on the screw center distance, spacing and sample center load.
