Forged steel flanges gate valve is suitable for pressures ranging from 1.6 to 42.0 MPa (Class 150 to 2500) and operating temperatures from -29°C to 250°C (for carbon steel) or -29°C to 500°C (for stainless steel). It is used in small-diameter pipelines to control or allow the flow of various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing agents, urea, and others. This valve is widely applied in oil pipeline systems.

Forged steel gate valves are designed for Dalian-type reductions. Compared to cast steel gate valves, they have smaller flow capacity but offer higher pressure and temperature ranges. Their sealing performance is significantly superior, resulting in a longer lifespan. Like other gate valves, they do not restrict the direction of medium flow.
