1、 Product Overview

YTP diaphragm pressure gauge is suitable for measuring the pressure of media with strong corrosion, high temperature, high viscosity, easy crystallization, solidification, and solid floating matter, as well as avoiding direct entry of measuring media into general-purpose pressure instruments and preventing sediment accumulation and easy cleaning. A diaphragm gauge consisting of a diaphragm isolator and a general-purpose pressure instrument should be used.

Diaphragm pressure gauges are mainly used for measuring fluid medium pressure in industrial sectors such as petrochemical, alkali making, chemical fiber, dyeing, pharmaceutical, food, and refrigeration.

2、 Structural Principles

When the pressure P of the measuring medium acts on the diaphragm, the diaphragm undergoes deformation [2], compressing the sealing fluid of the pressure measuring system of the pressure instrument to form a pressure of P - △ P. When the rigidity of the diaphragm is small enough, then Δ P is also very small, and the pressure formed by the pressure gauge pressure measuring system is close to the pressure of the measuring medium.

Due to the fact that the diaphragm pressure gauge system is filled with sealing fluid as the medium for transmitting pressure, the temperature expansion coefficient of the sealing fluid causes the reading of the pressure gauge to increase as the temperature of the pressure part increases. The temperature influence is related to the sealing fluid expansion coefficient, diaphragm stiffness, and pressure part temperature, especially for low range pressure instruments. The temperature error of the general pressure part is not more than 0.1%/℃. Therefore, the total temperature impact of a diaphragm pressure instrument is generally the sum of the temperature impact of a universal instrument and the temperature impact of the pressure part of the diaphragm device.

Especially for diaphragm pressure gauges with flexible connecting pipes, the installation position of the pressure part and the universal pressure gauge is different, which will result in the influence of the liquid level difference △ P as shown in the figure.

The corrosion resistance of diaphragm pressure gauges can be ensured by selecting appropriate materials for the diaphragm, flange, and sealing gasket in contact with the measuring medium.

Diaphragm material: 0Crl7Nil2Mo2 (316); Monel alloy (Cu30Ni70); Hastelloy (H276C); Tantalum (Ta) and fluoroplastics (F4).

Flange material: stainless steel 0Crl7Nil2M02 (316); Stainless steel lined with fluoroplastic (316+F4).

Sealing gasket material: nitrile rubber; Fluorine rubber; Silicone rubber and fluoroplastics.
