DESCRIPTION:

Silver Ion Antibacterial Functional Dressing is consists of a soft Silver ion cotton material,the device is a highly conformable dressing. Silver ion provides an effective barrier to microbial

contamination on wound. The device is sterile product, intended for one-time use.

INTENDED USES:

Silver Ion Antibacterial Functional Dressing is indicated for the management of wounds including: trauma wounds, burns, surgical wounds and infection wounds.

CONTRAINDICATONS:

This device should not be used in patients with known sensitivity to silver-ion.

PRECAUTIONS:

1. Read the instruction carefully before use. Do not use if the inner package is damaged

2. The product is sterilized by radiation, and the validity of sterilization is three years. No use after expiration.

3. Debridement or excision must be done thoroughly to remove any remaining necrotic tissue that may cause infection.

4. Do not use if you are allergic to this product. Use with caution for pregnant women, lactating women, newborns and infants.

5. This product is not a substitute for systemic antibiotic use.

6. Although this product has anti-infection effect, it should not be used for wounds with serious wound infection and excessive necrotic tissue. Debridement should be actively carried out to control infection.

7. Use with caution in patients with liver and renal dysfunction.

8. For large area wounds or long-term application, clinicians should pay attention to the local and systemic toxicity of the product on human body, monitor blood silver and urine silver levels and conduct hematological examinations when necessary, and pay attention to the side effects on liver and kidney.

9. For external use only.

10. Children must use under adult supervision.

11. In order to maintain wound hygiene, please change the dressing timely or follow the doctor's advice;

How to remove the used dressings :

1. Carefully loosen the tape from your skin.

2. Wash your hands and put on a new pair of gloves or use the

hand sanitiser.

3. Lifting a corner and gently pulling back to release the old

dressings from the skin.

4. If the dressing sticks to the wound, wet it with normal saline

and try again.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Always handle silver ion antibacterial functional dressing using aseptic technique.

2. skin around the wound surface was disinfected routinely, washed with sterile normal saline and dried.

3. Open package and remove sterile dressing.

4. Cut the dressing to shape as necessary.

5. Without stretching the dressing, apply silver ion antibacterial functional dressing, either side down, to the wound surface ensuring there are no creases.

6. Secure the silver ion antibacterial functional dressing in place with an appropriate secondary dressing.

7. Change the dressing depending on the amount of exudates present and the condition of the wound.
