Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used for the treatment of
peptic ulcer and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and
other diseases. It can specifically act on the site of the
proton pump in the gastric wall cells, and is transformed into
the active form of sulfamide, and then irreversely binds to the
sulfol group of the proton pump through disulfide bonds. The
formation of sulfoamide and proton pump (H+-K+ -ATPASE)
complex, thereby inhibiting the activity of the enzyme, so that
H+ in the parietal cells can not be transported to the stomach,
