It's a PE Rattan that has held up well so far on a covered balcony all weather.Also waterproof. 

2:Do all items need assembly ? Chair and table ? Usually chairs come assembled.

Yes,the whole set needs to be assembled. However, the assembly is rather easy, you just need to follow the instructions. 

3:Are the Cushions washable? Do they get dirty fast?

taking them off when not in use,there is a zipper so you can talk covers off and wash.
