The English name is Aidan fruit, in Yoruba is the name Aridan, the Twi name in Ghana is Prekese and in Ibo it's called Oshosho or Osakirisa. In West Africa, the fruits of this plant are known as vegetable, as spice and for their pharmaceutical properties
