API 7K hoses are essential components in the oil and gas drilling industry, fabricated strictly following the API 7K standard. Their inner layer, commonly made of NR&SBR/HNBR/UPE materials, exhibits remarkable chemical stability and wear resistance, effectively withstanding the abrasion and chemical reactions during the transportation of drilling muds. The reinforcement layer, consisting of 2 - 6 layers of helical steel wires, provides robust strength to endure high pressures. The outer layer, crafted from synthetic rubber, offers excellent weather resistance. These hoses are mainly used for flexible connections between the upper end of the standpipe and the top drive/rotary device, as well as between the pump and the lower end of the standpipe in drilling and workover operations. They are responsible for pumping drilling mud at high pressures in oil drilling and exploration activities.
