Cylindrical pins: Cylindrical pins are mainly used for fixing parts on shafts, transmitting power, or as positioning elements. Cylindrical pins are available in different diameter tolerances for different fit regulations applications. Cylindrical pins are generally fixed in the hole by interference, so they should not be disassembled.
● Tapered pins: Precision pins are machined with a taper of 1:50, easy to install eyes and also ensure self-locking, generally used as positioning elements and connecting elements, mainly for frequently disassembled areas. Threaded taper pins and screw-tailed taper pins are used for holes that are not pierced or where it is difficult to remove the nut. Open-tailed taper pins enter the hole and can be opened at the back end to avoid the nut itself from slipping out of the hole. The pin holes of cylindrical pins and various conical pins generally need reaming process. After several disassemblies, non-standard pin processing reduces the positioning accuracy and connection tightening, and can only transmit small loads. Non-standard automotive nuts elastic cylindrical pin itself has elasticity, installed in the hole to maintain tension, not easy to loosen, easy disassembly, does not affect the fit characteristics, the pin hole does not need to be reamed. Hole pins and shaft pins are used for articulation.
