Acetyl-hexapeptide-8 is a neurotransmitter-inhibiting peptide. It inhibits the

release of acetylcholine to reduce muscle contraction, thus smoothing

expression lines, decreasing the appearance of wrinkles and preserving a firmer look of the skin.
