Warranty

In order to defend the legitimate interests between the customers and the manufacturers in accordance with the “The Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China", Haojiang Drilling Machinery Fittings Co,Ltd.—the manufacturer warrants its customers as follows:

We warrants:

♦Bits manufactured by the company conform to the standard of Oil and Gas Industry of PRC.SY/T5164.

♦The bits are free from defects in material and workmanship within the term of validity from the date of sale.

♦The bit, which is verified by our company, which does not meet the above conditions, whether or not to use, to ensure that the replacement or refund.

For the used bits, please provide the original bit (including nozzles and fragments fished from the well) along with all the performance records (including bit running parameters, hydraulic parameters, mud property, performance record, lithology, bit running time and the abnormal phenomenon occurred, and information of the bits used before and after the particular bit referred, etc.).Since our company is not able to control over the bits in the market and being used, nor able to predict the complexity of working condition in the well and any changes to the drilling operations, we are not to warrant that the bits sold accomplish any particular results or suitable fbr a particular purpose, nor that bits used in abnormal conditions are comparable with those used in normal conditions. The company shall not take any responsibility fbr the defects to the products and losses to the customers incurred due to the following causes:

♦Bits and its parts damaged due to improper handing and storage by the customer, and bits failed due to the expired date (aging and deterioration of the rubber and lubricant).

♦Bits reused after its first use and being repaired.

♦Failure to follow the description of the applicable formation, recommended parameters, operating requirements and cautions in the "Operation Instructions^.

♦Bit structures changed and non-standard bit parts used by the customer, e.g. nozzle plugged and extended nozzle welded.

♦improper selection and installation of bit nozzle.

The warranty stated herein extends only to the first user to whom Haojiang Drilling Tools Ltd Company or its agent delivers such products.

Operation Instructions

♦Before the bit running into the well, the user should carefully check the overall appearance and confirm that the serial number on shank end is the same as those on the packing box and the certificate, so that the imitations could be prevented.

♦The required bit operating procedures should be followed. After getting to the bottom hole, the bit must be running in slowly with lighter bit weight (WOB: 10-20KN, RPM: 60r/min.) for 1/2 hour and then drilling ahead with nonnal WOB.

♦selection of WOB and RPM should be within the limits of the recommended parameters, higher WOB and RPM cannot be used simultaneously

♦it is recommended that 3 nozzles are to be selected according to the designing, so that the mud flow through nozzle entry of the bit is controlled within 21.4m/s. Combination of mud flow rate and nozzles should be selected to the formula: Q (d2max/de2)<16.81x1 o 3D2 (here: Q: displacement, L/s; dmax: max. nozzle dia, mm; de: equivalent dia. Of nozzle, mm; D: nozzle socket entry dia, mm).

♦if abnormal damage(s) of the bit occurred, please contact the company and the packing box, inspection certificate, original performance records as well as the failure bit (with nozzles on) should be kept for our review, or we are not responsible for it.

♦The bit should be kept indoor with dry and well ventilated conditions at 10-33 °C and kept from sunshine and rain. Stored under such conditions, quality of the bit is guaranteed for 4 years.

Cautions:

♦Please select the applicable formation and parameters according to the instructions.

♦Surface equipment and mud property must meet the requirement of drilling operation.Tripping and drilling must be smooth.

♦High WOB should be elected by the use of low RPM, Never choose maximum WOB and maximum RPM at the same time.

♦The bottom of well must be cleaned, a large segment of the drill cannot be expanded, designated borehole. The bottom of well unclean, have junks, narrow borehole or the situation complex, it cannot use insert bit.

♦Never heat the bit (e.g. welding, boiling and firing). Don't soak new bit in oil or force the cone to rotate.

♦Never use defective nozzles with erosive marks, breaches or cracks, etc.

♦The operator must concentrate and avoid slipping away. If the bottom of well have turtle jump and other unusual circumstances, it should be analyze on time and take method.

♦Various type of sealed bit with journal bearing, hand rotating consume large is normal. Don't soak bit in oil or with a heavy beat.
