Drug Interactions: Co-administration of albendazole with praziquantel may increase plasma concentrations of the former.

[Indications] It is used for helminthiasis, taeniasis and trematodiasis in livestock and poultry.Such as Parascaris equi, Caudata, Strongyloides, Strongyloides, Strongyloides vulgaris, and Dictyocaulus angustus; adults of cattle such as Osteria, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Nematostella tenella, Cooper's nematode, Rhabditis, Oesophagostomum, and Dictyostelium; adults of sheep such as Haemonchus, Osterius, Trichostrongylus, Cupressus, Oesophagostomum, Trichostrongylus, and Dictyostelium; adults and larvae of swine, porcine, roundworm, Oesophagostomum, and larvae; and filariae of dogs and cats; and filariae of fowl.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Single oral dose 5 to 10 mg per kg body weight in horses 5 to 10 mg in cattle and sheep 10 to 15 mg in pigs 5 to 10 mg in dogs 25 to 50 mg in birds 10 to 20 mg

ADVERSE REACTIONS: There were no apparent adverse effects in cattle or sheep at the recommended doses.Dogs given 50 mg/kg twice daily may experience poor appetite.Cats may experience mild lethargy, depression, anorexia and other symptoms, and there is a refusal to take it when treated with this product for paragonimiasis.Albendazole can cause aplastic anemia in dogs and cats.Use of albendazole in early pregnancy may be associated with teratogenic and embryotoxic effects.

[Precautions] This product should not be used in dairy cows; it should not be used in the first 45 days of pregnancy.

[Withdrawal period] 14th day for cattle, 4th day for sheep, 7th day for pigs and 4th day for poultry; 60 hours for milk discard period.
