Dry transformers with high and low voltage windings are coated by a thin layer of epoxy resin.Simply speaking, dry-type transformer refers to the transformer whose core and winding are not impregnated in insulating oil. Cooling methods are divided into natural air coolin g (AN) and forced air cooling (AF). During natural air cooling, the transformer can run continuously for a long time under rated capacity. When forced air cooling, the output capacity of transformer can be increased by 50%.
