USource 10Gb/s SFP+ BiDi 1550nm-TX/1490nm-RX 80km optical module is a hot-swappable small SFP+ bidirectional transceiver module designed for long-distance 10Gb/s duplex fiber optic data communication applications. The SFP+ BiDi module features a highly reliable 1550nm EML laser emitter and 1490nm APD photodetector in an LC simplex fiber optic connector, enabling a link distance of 80 kilometers on a single strand of single-mode fiber. The BDI SFP+ ZR transceiver module also offers a unique enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI) that provides real-time monitoring of transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage. The transceiver modules are compliant with SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472), 10 Gb Ethernet specifications (10GBASE-ZR/ZW compliant with IEEE 802.3ae), and 10G Fiber Channel. The transceiver is also a Class 1 laser product compliant with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
