Weichai (Chongqing) Automotive Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Weichai Motor ,formerly named Chongqing Jialing Chuanjiang Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) is the subsidiary company wholly owned by Weichai Power Co., Ltd. Weichai Motor was found in 1956 with the name of Chongqing Yuzhou Automobile Manufacturing Company, which was incorporated into Jialing Group in 1995. In 2005, Chongqing Jialing Special Equipment Co.,Ltd. and Chongqing Chuanjiang Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. jointly established Chongqing Jialing Chuanjiang Automobile Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., which was held by Weichai Power in 2009 and wholly owned by Weichai Power in March 2012.Weichai (Chongqing) Automotive Co.,Ltd was established in 2009 and specialized in developing, manufacturing and selling samll and medium-large sized luxury Van, SUV, Pickup, MPV. Trucks and special purpose vehicles in the future . The construction area is up to 360,000 M2 , we have two manufacture plants and approximately 5000 employees with an annual output capacity of more than 300,000 units of various vehicles . During the past years, Weichai motor has made significant investments to expand the production capacity, make technology innovations, pursue new solutions, adopt the highest quality standards and improve the after-sales services. All materials are subjected to stringent inspection and testing against technical parameters required. 2) The 5S Quality Management System has been set up in every workshop and the technique document issued by the technical center gives the concrete direction. 3) The testing facilities have been applied to guarantee the quality: wheel alignment instrument, platform for rollover test and so on.
