VANIL A BEAN have been a core supplier to the ever-growing confessionary and patisserie industries around the world. Specialising in Premium Grade A-1 Bourbon and Tahitian Vanilla Beans grown in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea for over 5 years now. The project started as a grassroots farming initiative and has since grown to over 150 plantations across the archipelago of Indonesia producing over 200 tonnes of Bourbon and Tahitian Vanilla Beans per annum. We are proud suppliers to the top fine foods distributors in countries in Europe, Asia and United Arab Emirates and are expanding our portfolio as the months pass by. We have 3 stages of QQ.
1. Initial Phase - Plantation (curating) - The harvested green beans from our plantations are taken to our curating facilities in Bali, Indonesia and Papua, Indonesia respectively. Here they are checked for any obscurities with those green beans fit for curation seperated from those which we deem not to be.
2. Drying Process - Factory - All of our vanilla beans are dried naturally under the sun over a 2-3 months to ensure moisture and vanillin content.
3. Laboratory Testing - The beans onced dried to respective moisture content are taken to the laboratory to be examined for mould, splits etc. Once the results are back we separate the vanilla beans based on grade (A+, A, B, C, D).
