Tropical Nutrition was founded 12 years ago by Heini Joensen, an Engineer from Denmark, and has grown to be a market leader over the years, achieving several recognitions for its high quality. Always in search of perfection, Heini and his wife Phirawan have made a lot of inventions in order to achieve the perfect oil. Thanks to technical excellence, combined with Thai tradition from both of them, now we have a unique product in the market place. With our demand constantly growing, 2018 is expected to exceed 10 million coconuts for oil production.Environment conservation is a priority and concern for the human kind and for us as a company, and smaller coconut plantations are well integrated into the natural habitat. We buy our raw material from Organic certified plantations, where coconut trees are grown naturally without any use of toxic chemicals. Coconut trees are not a cause of deforestation, like palm oil trees.Virgin coconut oil is a functional food with so many benefits that it would require a lengthy article to list them all. To list some examples, prior to the introduction of industrialized oils, populations consuming coconut products were slim.
