Company Overview

Vanilla Ceylon started in 2010 on a small scale with the least infrastructure and know-how. Our mission is to provide premium quality vanilla beans to consumers and protect our vanilla farmers.

With gradual expansion, we were able to export our vanilla beans to many countries around the world. We are the number one vanilla bean exporter in Sri Lanka in terms of quantity as well as quality. Our unique traditional curing process gives us a competitive advantage in producing the best Bourbon vanilla beans with a high content of vanillin and vanilla seeds. Most of our customers praise our vanilla beans' consistent quality, as we work hard to get soft, pliable bourbon vanilla beans with the best aroma. One of the main concerns in our production process is food safety. As green vanilla beans come from different farmers, we always follow proper food handling methods during our whole production process to ensure our end consumers get the quality product from us.

Vanilla Ceylon has been working closely with the Vanilla Growers Association to get quality vanilla beans from our local farmers. Through our growers association, we have 91 vanilla cultivation societies spread in different areas of Sri Lanka. More than 1000 members in our vanilla cultivation societies are growing vanilla in the Central province. Our Vanilla Grower Association is a key player in promoting and encouraging farmers to increase their vanilla cultivation.The association also assists farmers by providing information on vanilla cultivation and ensuring that they receive a fair price for their harvest.This helps to alleviate poverty and earn enough for a decent standard of living for vanilla farmers over the long term.
