Quality Control

Safe-Pro USA LLC's Quality Management System is compliant with the Quality Standard ISO-9001. As part of this system, rigorous Quality Control is enforced through every stage of the manufacturing operation for each product. The Quality inspection starts at the receving of raw materials which are used to manufacture the product. From this stage onwards, Quality Inspection and Control are conducted at every step of the manufacturing process. For the manufacture of buller resistant vests, quality inspection starts with the visual inspection of the ballistic fabric and the outer carrier raw material components. Concurrently, ballistic test reports of tests conducted on the raw material (Kevlar) are reviewed and verified. Kevlar and outer carrier cutting templates are verified followed by layer count verification. Stitching quality is closely inspected for the outer carrier and the Kevlar fabric stitching pattern. Next, the fit of the Kevlar ballistic inserts into the outer carrier is inspected. The finished vests are dimensionally checked for conformity with the ordered size. Next, the finished vest is inspected for verification of being cleaned of any loose threads. Next, the vest is inspected for conformity with the established packagaing procedure. Finally the inspector verifies that the vest meets all the requirements specified in the customer order and that it is shipped to the correct customer address.
