Quality Control

1. Raw Material Inspection:

   - Verify the quality of incoming coconut shell charcoal by checking for impurities, moisture content, and particle size.

2. Crushing and Sizing:

3. Mixing and Binder Application:

   - Mix the charcoal with a binder material (usually a natural starch or other approved binding agents) in controlled proportions.

   - Ensure thorough and consistent mixing to prevent uneven briquette quality.

4. Briquette Formation:

   - Use a hydraulic press or extruder to shape the mixture into briquettes of the desired size and shape.

   - Monitor compression pressure and maintain consistency.

5. Drying:

   - Place the formed briquettes in a drying chamber or under controlled conditions to remove excess moisture.

   - Ensure they are properly dried to prevent mold growth and improve combustion efficiency.

6. Quality Testing:

   - Conduct periodic quality checks during production to assess parameters like briquette density, moisture content, and hardness.

   - Randomly select samples for laboratory testing, including calorific value and ash content.

7. Packaging:

   - Package the briquettes in durable, moisture-resistant packaging to maintain quality during storage and transportation.

   - Include clear labeling with product details and manufacturing date.

8. Storage and Handling:

   - Store finished briquettes in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse to prevent moisture absorption and contamination.

   - Implement a first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory system to manage stock.

9. Regular Audits and Inspections:

   - Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing process to identify and rectify any issues promptly.

   - Perform inspections of the production equipment to ensure they are well-maintained and calibrated.

10. Customer Feedback:

    - Encourage customers to provide feedback on product quality and performance.

    - Address any complaints or concerns promptly and use them to improve the production process.
