Company Overview

Our story began in 2016 in the busy town of Jakarta, Indonesia. Varion was established by two like-minded friends with a vision of providing solutions and becoming the most strategic partner to the clients in the commodity trading industry.We began building our business as a domestic commodity trading and merchandise production company for many market leading corporations.Supported by the advantage of independence by having a full access to coffee, cocoa, and coconut plantations owned by our founders and partners.Varion has the capability to ship around 10,000 MT of both Arabica and Robusta coffee beans to USA, Europe, and Asia.Our Coffee plantations in Java and Sumatra supplies most of the beans we trade, however we are also sourcing other high-quality varieties from different areas in Indonesia:1. Coffee- Java Arabica- Arabica Mandheling- Arabica Mandheling Lintong- Arabica Mandheling Gayo Mountain- Arabica Solok- Arabica Flores- Java RobustaWith a wide range of Indonesian origins and qualities we are able to cover most of our clients requirements that range from small sized roasters to multinationals. We maintain warehouses for the effective management of our stocks.3. Coconut-Processing :Our beans are produced at the ideal latitude and altitude with the care of experienced coffee growers; under a responsible farming program which enables the coffee trees to develop healthy beans rich in flavor and aroma.The right blend can be dramatic, delicate, sweet, or all of the above; the right blend is a very personal thing and there is always one for each taste.The right roasting process brings each coffee bean to its full potential; developing and cultivating the wonderfully complex, multi-dimensional flavours that are the culmination of this journey.Cocoa- Varion started trading Cocoa in 2018, leveraging on its strong commodity trading network to Cocoa factories in Asia and its access to cocoa plantations in Sumatra and Sulawesi. We aspired to expand our capability of shipping around 1,500 MT Cocoa Beans annually.- Varion originates Cocoa mostly from two best producer of high quality Cocoa in Indonesia, Sumatra and Sulawesi Islands.Forward IntegrationMerchandise:We understand how critical it is to have options that protect product integrity and reinforce your brand positioning in the marketplace through Package Branding and Innovation.Varion offers a wide variety of packing options, suitable to the needs of the brand and the products final application (retail, food service, etc.)In addition, we are also working to develop alternatives that incorporate sustainable packaging material that are recyclable or even biodegradable.We are working closely with customers in the process to create innovative packaging solutions.Such packaging can offer not only environmental responsibility, but also help a brand stand out in a crowded market.
