Company Overview

THE BEGINNINGMEMORY was founded by Fredy Mulyanto on September 20th, 1993. The first factory was located in Prepedan, West Jakarta with basic carpenter machines exporting TV stand to Hong Kong. After a successful exhibition in Singapore, MEMORY then expanded the market aggressively to the Middle East, opening second factory in Mauk, Tangerang with a capacity of 10,000 units per month. 1999 - 2002As standard of quality improved, MEMORY penetrate to Japanese market in 1999 and France in 2000, marking an era where modernization of entire production process and product expansion. To meet the increasing demand after successfully penetrating a competitive German market, MEMORY opened another factory in 2001, where our head office is currently located in Jatiuwung, Tangerang. Capacity had also increased to 20,000 units per month. 2003 - 2006Realizing that material could be saved by utilising Honeycomb Paper, as well as design trend where round edges are gaining popularity, MEMORY successful introduced products that fitted into these attribute, called SOFT Series, the first in the market. Then after, running 24 hours for the first time across all production line. 2007 - 2011With demands still increasing, MEMORY sought to modernize the process once again and decide to create a new line under PT Furniplus Asia, in Batam island which is close to Singapore. The new plant had a vision to adopt always the latest woodworking technology in Indonesia. In 2009, MEMORY also introduced new forming technique called CURVE, where traditionally component have to be bended in order to curve the edges, MEMORY created a new technique to achieve the same result using honeycomb paper, resulting in a very cost effective product which was also process patented at the same time with tremendous success. Capacity since then increased to 80,000 units per month. 2012 - 2016To increase the quality further, MEMORY acquired a company that was specialised in UV Lacquered High Gloss Panels, PT Talenta Anugerah Pratama, and progressively added finishing as product options. This period also marked the first time MEMORY penetrate North and South America market, meaning that MEMORY Products had reached all 5 continents. 2017In order to ensure that MEMORY is the ultimate business partner for furniture solution, MEMORY acquired a rattan factory, PT Luck One Living that is already exporting worldwide adding natural material as part of the collection.In the same year, MEMORY also launched upholstery products making Sofa and Arm Chairs selling to key retailers in Indonesia.
