QS Graphene was established in 2017 as a technology company producing graphene, with its products such as graphene oxide, modified graphene, and high-purity graphene reaching advanced world standards, especially the single-layer rate reached an advanced level of over 99%, making the Kyorene one of the few companies in the world to meet the single-layer rate standards for graphene production.

We collaborate with YZ company, a renowned chemical fiber enterprise with advanced equipment and core techniques, to produce the world's first graphene low creep ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber through a dry process. The fiber boasts the following advanced features:

1.    Low creep performance. Specially, types 1472 and 1380 underwent a 320-day anti-creep test, with an elongation rate of just 0.8%, which is 40% of the 1.9% creep performance of high molecular weight polyethylene by wet processes and is comparable to the low creep index of famous European companies manufacturing high molecular weight polyethylene by dry processes, achieving the best level of international low creep performance in high molecular weight PE. Grafting graphene onto polyethylene fi­bers improves the polymer chain orientation, leading to more orderly arrangement of molecular chains and further reducing the ­fibers' creep.

2.    Wear resistance and cut resistance. The abrasion and cut resistance of functionalized graphene polyethylene ­fibers stem mainly from their unique structure and chemical properties. Graphene's abundant strong carbon-carbon bonds and planar structure contribute to these resilient properties.

3.    Corrosion resistance. Another patented technology and product from QS Graphene, mainly used for the ­final coating production in rope manufacturing, involves layering graphene in between polyethylene fi­bers, ­filling gaps within the ­fibers and creating a "maze" barrier effect. This prevents internal air pockets or cracks from expanding and lengthens the path for corrosion media to spread, thus slowing down the rate of ­fiber corrosion.

4.    Anti-marine organism adhesion. A new material developed by QS Graphene to prevent marine organism adhesion has improved resistance against biofouling.

5.    Environmentally friendly dry production process. The dry process uses decahydronaphthalene solvent with a 99.8% recovery rate, causing minimal environmental impact and representing an eco-friendly product. 

6.    High cost-performance ratio. QS Graphene's high molecular weight low creep polyethylene fi­bers represent a signi­ficant technological breakthrough but the product price is only 70% of the quote from internationally renowned high molecular weight polyethylene ­fibers.
