Founded in 1939,Hunan Baishaxi Tea Factory Co.,Ltd. was originally known as Hunan Baishaxi (State-owned) Tea Factory which was the brick tea factory organized by Peng Xianze with his alias of Mengqi, a bachelor of agriculture and Deputy Director of Tea Management Office who was delegated by Hunan Construction Department to study in Kyushu University in Japan. WIth its long history about 80 years , it is the birthplace of compressed tea as well as the cradle of border-selling tea in China.Located in northeast of Xuefeng Mountains, Hunan Baishaxi Tea Factory Co.,Ltd. can share beautiful landscape and enjoy the aura of mountains and rivers. And it has been ranked first for several items in the history of compressed tea in China such as the first piece of black brick tea ,the first piece of Fuzhuan tea and the first piece of Huazhuan tea by exploring, carrying on and developing traditional dark tea products including Tianjian tea, Gongjian tea, Shengjian tea and Huajuan tea (known as Qianliang tea). In 1956, Baishaxi was awarded one of the 5 national excellent tea factories and palyed a crucial role in the production and development history of compressed tea, making great contributions to maintenance of national unity and socialist economic construction in China!As the fixed production enterprise of borde-selling tea appointed by Committee on Religious Affais over the years, Hunan Baishaxi Tea Factory Co.,Ltd. has advanced equipment ,perfect technology, strong technical force and special resource advantages of Anhua tea, with the factory area of 80,000 sq.m which can provide a storage space for 60000 quintals, assets of 320,000,000 yuan,an annual production capacity of more than 20,000 tons. Moreover, it has two leading clean production lines of brick tea in China, three-dimensional forming workshops of brick tea, separation workshops of tea purification, over 1000 sets of tea processing equipments and more than 8,000 mu of organic and pollution-free bases. Now it has been a leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization in Hunan province, one of the top hundred entenprises in tea industry in China, new high-tech enterprise and enterprise rated as "3A" in quality credit of Hunan province, an enterprise rated as "A" in municipal-level food hygiene, demonstration site of industrial tourism in Hunan province, national scenicspot rated as 2A; and the trademark of "Baishaxi" has been awarded "China Famous Brand" and "China symbolic Brand of dark tea". In 2010,the dark tea of the enterprise entered UN Pavilion as one of the top 10 famous tea during Shanghai World Expo and became the franchised gift tea of Hunan Pavilion during the Expo, well received by customers.The main "Baishaxi" products include seven series with 78 categories of innovative products such as black brick tea , Huazhuan tea, Fuzhuan tea, Tianjian tea, Huajuan tea (known as Qianliang tea ), 5301 tea and Yunjian tea ,as well as Fuhao tea. Among these products black brick tea and Huazhuan tea have won ministerial-level and provincia Gold and Silver Award for two consecutive years. Baishaxi dark tea products has won Gold Award in China international Tea Expo for ten consecutive years. The products are mainly sold to Guangdong province, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhejiang province , Taiwan and Hong Kong. Its marketing network is all over the country.
