Dried & True Pty Ltd is a member of the Cool Off Pty Ltd group of companies - who have been in the Pet Food industry for over 25 years. Our original business operates a pet food collection network, sourcing pet food meats from over 25 abattoirs throughout Australia. This product is collect on a daily basis, through a unique chilling system that we have developed over many years, and have installed at each of the meat processing plants. This system provides full quality control of product right back to the processor, with real-time, remote monitoring via modem to track temperature and refrigeration - with an immediate SMS alarm back to base upon abnormal data. It also allows for the collection of a broad range of products that would otherwise be too costly to source. Our strong relationships with the abattoirs and the ability to leverage the current collection to include additional products, provides us with a significant competitive advantage.Our drying facility consists of 19 drying ovens, each with the capacity to dry 10,000 pig ears in a 24 hour period, or a combined total of 190,000 pigs ears per day. All ovens are fitted with real-time temperature and humidity controls, ensuring that specific products are dried according to our specially formulated recipes ensuring optimal product quality. The plant also contains a 7,000 pallet freezer running at -20 deg. Celsius, and a 30 pallet refrigerated room, operating at 4 deg. Celsius.The integrated dry warehouse provides 750 pallet spaces of secure, dry storage, with stock rotation and traceability managed by MultiPick - a customised Warehouse Management System.An additional key feature of our drying operation is the unique solar cell that we have designed and installed as part of the drying process. Through our solar cell, heat capture and heat storage system, we will be using only 20% of the electricity / gas used by other conventional drying operations.
