Founded in 1993 in Istanbul, AFS BICAK VE KALIP SANAYI DIS TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI produces stainless steel knives, cutting tips and grinding parts for meat grinders, salami slicers and doner kebab cutting machines used in the food industry, especially for small electrical household appliances such as food processors, blenders and mixers. AFS, which made its first export in 2002, now exports a significant part of its production to Europe. With a monthly capacity of 500 thousand knives, AFS produces stainless steel knives for different types of food processing machines, from food processors to meat grinders. AFS knife, which includes Electro-Polishing and Heat Treatment operations, continues its production in its own 3600 m2 closed area. Our knife production line includes presses, heat treatment, grinding, sharpening, electro-polishing, washing and quality control units. Heat-treatment is carried out in line with the hardness and structural requirements of our customers. Our company has ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate and in this context, all our processes are kept under control with work instructions and procedures. During and at the end of production, the products are approved after being checked and tested with high-tech test devices in our quality control laboratories.

1. All blades are 100% visually controlled by quality control personel according to the "Visual Control Instruction".
2. Gauge control is carried out by the quality control personnel based on the "Technical Drawing" by dimensional control of the blades with a caliper and measuring apparatus.
3. Defected parts are separated according to error types and their numbers are determined.
4. For the errors that are possible to be corrected, quality personel determine which process-based error is, and the parts are counted and separated and sent to the required process.
5. In parts with unacceptable errors; the error type and number are determined and recorded in the "Non Conforming Product Form" and removed to the rejection field.
6. The defect-free parts checked by the quality staff are put into cartons for packaging.
7. Before the packaging and shipment of the products, at least one-thousandth of the product number is randomly selected by the quality control personnel and checked as shown in the pictures with 3D measuring device, caliper and special measuring apparatus the measurements and measurements are filled in the 'Final Control Report'.
