We want to have “Coffee Extraction Unit” capacity of 600 kg/h from coffee beans. The process parameters of the required equipment are as follows :

Roaster :
 Capacity : 50 kg/hr
 Medium roast
 Time : 20 min
 Temp : 225 deg C

Grinder :
 Type : Burr
 Input : coffee bean (5-6 mm)
 Output : 1 mm

Extractor :
 Capacity : 600 kg/hr
 Ratio : 1 : 14 (bean to water)
 Temperature : 92 deg C
