Hi.. This will be my first EV conversion project (( have a plan to make it commercially expanded in my garage if the first trial is successful and cost effective )
I have so many question to ask before I proceed with buying the kit.. hope that you can help me with it :
1- the donor car is a bit heavy it weights around 2.5 ton today with the current setup.. it might be less after removing the current engine. So how the wiegth factor the kit and desired speed.
The donor car is an old mercedes W460 230GE 1987.
2- do i need to remove everything ( engine, fuel pipe,tank, coolant system, what else?
3- how AC system, power steering , will be connected to motor.
3. what about the gear. will i be able to use my original gearbox automatic, or i need to add hub adapter or i can have the option to use your own gearbox and how many speed/ration
4- do u supply monitoring and gauges for speed, battery status, motor health , gear oil level, time to charge, etc.
5- how big is the motor and how much battery I should invest to have the car drive for 200km in one charge? Can I have a solar sell to keep recharging while driving
6- whats the warranty provided and how is the availability of spares supply.
