GENERAL REQIREMENTS. 1) male vests in standard sizes (Small 29, Medium 90, Large -68, XL 25, XXL 13)2) a size chart showing corresponding chest breadth range and torso lengths to each size designation. 3) male custom sizes as requested, using a supplied size sheet to capture measurements within 30 working days of receipt. 4) female custom sizes as requested, using a supplied size sheet to capture measurements within 30 working days of receipt. CARRIER REQUIREMENTS 5) The carrier must be light tan or beige in colour. 6) The carrier must be a concealable style with low profile straps and fasteners. 7) The carrier must have tails on front and rear carrier with cut-out on front carrier tail. 8) The carrier straps must not be detachable from rear carrier. 9) The carrier must be constructed of poly-cotton material. 10) The front carrier must have a 5x7 plate pocket located on the inner surface of the carrier. 11) The carrier must not have any company markings or logos on the outside. 12) The labels must be in the format and content provided in both English and French. BALLISTIC PANEL REQUIREMENTS 13) The ballistic panels must be a National Institute of Justice certified model to 0101.06 Level IIIA. 14) The front and rear ballistic panels must have an aerial density of 1.0 lb per square foot or less. 15) The front and rear ballistic panels must be a maximum of 0.28 inches thick. 16) The ballistic panels must be comprised of woven Aramid, high performance polyethylene fibre or a combination of either. 17) The ballistic panels must have no quilting of the panels although tacking may be required to hold the woven panels together and prevent material shifting. 18) The ballistic panels must be of uniform size, consistency and construction and layer count throughout. 19) The ballistic panels must be labeled in accordance with NIJ 0101.06 labeling requirements.20) Manual with the following content : a. Donning and doffing instruction; b. Removal and insertion of ballistic panel instructions; c. Washing instructions; d. Size chart and information on fit and adjustability of sizing.
