Water leak system specs
Water detector characteristics :
• Must be small and low power consumption
• Probes must be 1/8 inch from the floor
• Must communicate wirelessly with a controller (RF, High)
• Must send a signal to the controller only when water is detected
• Each detector can be identified (Addressable??)
Controller characteristics :
• Must communicate with the water detectors wirelessly (RF, High)
• If no water is detected, the controller must scan all water detectors every 24 hours
• If no water is detected, the controller will send a signal to the motorized valve (to close and open) once a week
• Must be able to drive a motorized valve (12 or 24 volt)
• Must have WiFi built in capability to communicate with the external world
• Each detector can be identified, editable (Addressable??)
• Must be able to handle 15 + detector
• Must show at the controller and send an alert WiFi, if a detector is low battery
• Must show at the controller and send an alert WiFi if the controller is low battery
• Must be able to have 20
Characteristics Operating :
• When water is detected, a wireless signal from the detector is sent to the controller.
• The controller will immediately send a signal to the motorized valve to close
• The controller must be manually reset to reopen the motorized valve when water is gone
