We are a company based in Switzerland and we are importing old VHS tapes for our customers. Until now we just copied the tapes to dvd. But nowadays more and more customers want their tapes digitalized as mpeg2 or mpeg4 files and stored on a hard drive.

Therefore I am currently looking for a solution which allows me to record up to 10 analog video streams (with audio) and save the videos as mpeg4 files on a file server.

As I am a .Net programmer I am especially looking for a system which provides me some kind of API (for .Net). With this API it should be possible to start/stop the import process and define parameters for the imported file.

Please provide me some product information about devices which could save those requirements.
