we toggle mostly rawhide, but also some leather. Aluminum toggles do not hold up in rawhide because the toggles stick to rawhide, and are knocked off with a hammer, and fall to the floor. Plastic toggles can be undone by hand. Is it possible to get a sample of a plastic toggle? We have been using aluminum toggles with the bottom jaw being made out of stainless steel.
