Hello, we are looking for custom made highvoltage transformers. They should be mounting in to the PCB. We are looking for 10 samples for testing in the first run. Our device is currently under development.

Specification :

- transformer for high voltage flyback power supply, working frequency 30-120kHz;

- 1 primary winding, 60uH, input voltage 20-130V;

- 2 absolutely independent secondary windings;

- windings ratio 1 : 25 (primary : secondary);

- 5000V peak isolation from primary to secondary winding;

- 5000V peak isolation between secondary windings;

- 70mA output current from each secondary winding (RMS value) at 1100V on secondary output for 3ms, then 2ms pause, 3ms running, 2ms pause, etc.

We're not sure about windings ratio and output current. Our last transformer had 1 : 10 and two parallel windings. This transformer has too low power output and also output volatge was low. Each output was connected to an independent voltage multiplier. The plan was to connect outputs of these multipliers together to have stronger output. In reality it is better to have faster ramp-up of the voltage and therefore we connect multiplier's outputs in series.

Generally, we find it better to have multipliers output in parallel (better scalability for different total output). Therefore we need a higher winding ratio - I suggest 1 : 25. Can this be a problem from your point of view? Is such a high ratio safe for the transformer? May some high voltage spikes damage the transformer?

If there can be some troubles with high voltage and two secondary windings, we can use two smaller totally independent transformers with primary inductance 120uH and connect primary windings together. If this approach will be used, we will prefer a bit higher isolation primary : secondary (8000V peak).
