1. Scope
1.1.This specification describes the requirements for a Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) flaw detector system for NDT applications.
1.2. The Equipment is needed by Users working with the IAEA on Technical Cooperation projects, to upgrade and strengthen the skills and capabilities of human resources and to provide general support within the broad spectrum of nuclear technology applications in the fields of nuclear medicine, agriculture, industry and radiation protection.
1.3. Supplier may propose alternatives that differ from this Specification, but are intended to produce the same or better results for this application. In such cases, these must be clearly stated and justified in the offer and sufficient technical information has to be provided for assurance of compliance with this Specification.
2.Functional and Technical Requirements
