Hello,
We are a Canadian creator and trader of personal products who is now seeking to import 5,000 to 10,000 pieces of First Grade Natural Egyptian Type Loofa cut to size , with the following specifications, and similar to what is in the accompanying pictures :
1. The product must be of the L. aegyptiaca (Egyptian) species, not the L. acutangula (Asian) species.
2. The loofah must be of recent harvest, and must not have been in storage more than 6 months at the most.
3. The product must be thoroughly dried and the seeds removed, bleached and clean, without any internal, or external defects. The pieces must be symmetrical, No warped pieces will be accepted.
4. The loofa fibres must be healthy and strong. Stiff when dry, but supple when wetted.
5. The cut pieces are required in a length of 18cms. The diameter must be between 9 and 12cms. The pieces may be uniform in diameter, or slightly tapered. The weight of any piece must fall between 16 and 30 Grms. Any pieces outside this range will be rejected.
6. The pieces may be supplied in their original dry cylindrical form. However, in order to save on shipping costs, we prefer the pieces to be pressed, without causing any permanent damage to the fibres.
7. A third party inspector will be assigned to control the quality of the goods before shipment,
