Digital LCD Thermometer Temperature sensor to embed in a hard shell case

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Arlen Shub. I own and operate a retail company in the US called StarPlus2, LLC.
I am working with another China manufacturer on a travel case which holds ice packs to keep medicine cold. I would like to add a temperature display to the outside of the case with a sensor wire inside the case to show the internal temperature or possibly without a sensor wire depending on how your device can be attached to the case.
If you think this is something you may be able to help with, here are some additional details ...
I would like the temperature display to have the following features
- approximately 4cm long x 2cm wide (if rectangular) or 4cm max diameter (if round) - I am open to suggestions if you have a standard size
- thin - I do not know if it is possible to attach the display to the outside of the case and only have a small hole made in the case for the sensor wire. Or if well need to cut a larger hole in the case so that most of the temperature assembly is hidden inside the case and only the display is visible on the outside. This may require a design conversation with the case manufacturer.
- some method of attaching your device to an EVA case
- button to switch display between Celsius and Fahrenheit
- button to turn on the display and have the display turn off automatically after 10 or 15 seconds to preserve battery life or an on/off switch that is accessed from outside the case
- blue or white back light to be able to view the display in the dark
- 1 battery if possible and would like it to be standard so that it is easy to buy a replacement and not too expensive
- some way to change the battery without taking apart the case - maybe the battery compartment can be reached from the outside?
- and need the display to last as long as possible - please let me know how long can be expected
I do not have drawings but photos of the case are attached for your reference. In addition, I have these specifications from the case manufacturer.
1. Surface material : 1680D
2. Middle layer material : 5.5cm EVA
3. Inside lining material : fabric
Approximate case dimensions : 21cm long x 10cm wide x 5cm deep. It may be made larger but not smaller than these dimensions.
