Currently, we are working with Government organization for City Energy Metering and they allowed us for Pilot run as 10 x Meters at 10 Houses as first trial.
They prefer to test two communications : (1) PLC Communication (2) GSM/GPRS Communication
Here is Digital Meter Requirement
(1) Usually, All kWH meters will be located at Top of Light Pole. 5 QTY of kWH Meter will mount on each Light Pole. So kWH meter you supply must be stand able for outdoor weather.
(2) kWH Meter is just postpaid meter with 80A Minimum
(3) Communication between kWH Meter to Central must use "GSM/GPRS " as first option. They prefer PLC Communication as second too.
(4) As this project potential is City wise turning to Digital Meter, there will have competitors and offer price must be very competitive.
(5) Could you please provide PI with complete Hardware and Software for First Pilot Run as " Most cost effective kWH meter" which could be able to fit above requirement? If everything is working fine, whole NPT City and Pyin Ma Na Area will change to Digital kWH Meter. Potential is very huge.
