We need to quote in three different types of materials, the client requested it that way. We are not the end users, we are a trading company of blades and spare parts for the Colombian industry.
1. Listed in AISI 4340 with heat treatment (give hardness 45- 48 HRC)
2. Listed in AISI D2, HRC 56 - 58 HRC
3. Listed in AISI H 13, HRC 44 - 46 HRC
Quantity : 30 units of each reference.I appreciate your response for today, it is urgent, the client will defines. A question? These spare parts belong to a rolling mill of a steel industry and are subjected to severe wear and high temperature since hot rods pass over them at 700 - 800 degrees centigrade and form grooves, cracks in the rollers after 20 days of work. What steel or material can you recommend that is effective for this application? The client has used AISI 4340, H13, D2... But wants alternatives, something better.I remain pending the offer and your advice.
