The idea of our research project is to test 3D printed scaffold from composite materials (PLLA + HAP) for bone regeneration procedures in dentistry. The printed specimens would be tested with in-vivo rat calvaria model (microCT and histological evaluation would be done). If the results would be promising, we would like to do a pilot study with the real patients, placing 3D printed scaffolds in the site of extracted teeth and after the healing we would take the biopsy for the histomorphometrical examination.

For this project we have already secured the finances for the whole materials and human resources. Besides we have the Ethical committee permissions for animal as well as human study. Animal model with rats has been tested and verified.

We hope that including PLLA material made by you could be beneficial for the company, as we would test your material using in-vivo conditions. Couple of publications (with impact factor) will be prepared as well where we will indicate the manufacturer.

For the planned in vivo experiments we would need around 1200 g of PLLA (average particle size - 50-60 microns).
We would like to ask is that possible that you could donate this amount of PLLA for this project. As it was mentioned above, in exchange we would do animal and clinical studies with your material and validate it.

The PLLA is planned to be mixed with HAP and printed using 3D Mass Portal (https : //www.massportal.com/) or similar printer.
