Can you advice me in which winch will suit my condition best please.
I work in the forestry with an excavator and want to mount an winch on the boom to pull heavy hardwood logs out the forest. Some of the logs are really heavy and reaches easily 30 ton and mostly are 15 m. to 25 m. long and 1 m to 1.80 wide. The required distances to pull them out of the forest are between 50 m - 100 m.
I would like to put an winch on top of the boom of the excavator Fiat - Hitachi EX 215 to reduce the impact on the forest and work much greener and friendlier with the forest.
I hope you can have an good and suitable winch available.
