let me explain myself...
i was going to (i still may), make a board game but now that i have been thinking about it and after i found by accident a little video on youtube, i decided that maybe it would be cheaper and actually more durable to make a pad instead. you know, a board can get wet and lose its quality and a pad may be better at rough handling and easy to ship. it would also be cheaper because i won't need a box but a printed rectangular poster to cover the mat. i had a good quote by another company but i'm still working on the copyright, therefore everything we talk about is still in the developming process.
so, this is what i had in mind...
if a board game :
size of the actual game is 30x30 inches
box to put the game inside would be 30.2x15.2 (barely big enough to keep the game inside)
instructions sheet
six 1 inch custom dice (i will send you my design)
one 1 inch classic dotted dice (1-6 dots on each side)
i want the box to be able to hold the game which should be folded once so the size of the box gets people's attention
if mat :
printed mat of 30x30 inches (with game warnings and instructions printed on the right bottom corner on the front part of the pad)
instructions to play printed on another corner (bottom left)
rectangular poster with logos and marketing to wrap the mat (warnings also printed on this poster)
six 1 inch custom dice (i will send you my design)
one 1 inch classic dotted dice (1-6 dots on each side)
the mat has to be rolled and plastic wrapped on one side which means the roll must be 30 inches toll once rolled and plastic wrapped.
i need to produce at least 100 for the first batch, which would be used to promote the game.
there are two variations of the game, which means i would need 100 rolls but the dice will be the same.
i need to know prices of different thickness and qualities and i need to know, of course, the shipping costs of this rolls.
i'd give you more info once i get my copyright process done.
