What's coke oven bricks

Silica Refractory Brick is short for silica brick, it belongs to acid refractory brick and is suitable for lining material of high temperature kiln with acid atmosphere or solution. It is a kind of quality refractory products with more than 94-96% SiO2 content. Silica Refractory Brick has excellent resistance to acid corrosion, excellent heat conductivity and high refractoriness.

Silica bricks for coke oven is made of natural quartz stone with high SiO2 content (94%). Silica brick is used for coke oven's basic parts such as regenerator, chute, carbonization chamber, combustion chamber, coking chamber, furnace bottom and top, etc. The brick quality is one of the main factor that affect the service period of coke oven. With the enlargement of coke oven, the temperature in the main burning area has been rising, which requires higher quality bricks for oven.
