Du replacement bushing is a composite multiple-layer material used in the manufacture of dry self-lubricating sliding bearings. The main parts componing this product are a loaded PTFE-based sliding layer (without lead, complying with the European a sintered tin bronze layer and a low carbon steel support. Thanks to its structure, du bushing provides an excellent match between the mechanical strength of steel and the low coefficient of friction due to the PTFE-based sliding layer. The bronze layer guarantees a sound coupling for the self-lubricating mixture and allows a good loss of the heat produced during operation.

Du bearing replacment is is a self-lubricating multi-layer bearing consisting of tin/or copper-coated steel, a middle layer of sintered bronze and an inner layer, sliding surface, of PTFE. The bearing is mainly suitable for rotating and oscillating movements and applications with frequent starts and stops. The friction value is very low which enables du bushes bearings to be used without lubrication. The bearings can also be used in oil or water since the bearings are highly corrosion resistant.
