Thixotropy characteristics: PH 7.5-9.5.It has unique three-dimensional spatial chain structure and special needle and rod crystal structure.Therefore, it has unusual colloidal and adsorption properties.Its "card palace" type association network structure in water medium. With its excellent thickening,suspension and colloidal thixotropy properties, it has been widely used in coatings and mortar industries.

Characteristics of the Product

1. Magnesium aluminum silicate is a stabilizer of water-in-oil emulsion, which has good emulsion stability. Its outstanding advantage is that it can stabilize water-in-oil emulsion at low concentration

2. With its excellent suspensibility, Magnesium aluminium silicate water dispersions can suspend many kinds of powdery substances, including pigments, resins, talc powder, clay, aluminium hydroxide, barium salt, iron oxide and smithsonite.

3. It has good synergy with organic thickener. The combination of organic thickener and aluminium silicate can give full play to their best characteristics. The mixture of magnesium aluminium silicate and cellulose ether can reduce water separating out and powder precipitation .

4. With excellent thixotropy, magnesium aluminum silicate has the thixotropic characteristics of high shear and low viscosity, low shear and high viscosity, so it is the most widely used in the field of coatings and mortar.

5. As an adhesive and disintegrating agent, it is often used in the production of granules and tablets

6. As a viscosity modifier and thickener, magnesium aluminium silicate has a good effect on controlling the consistency of emulsifier and suspension. This performance is often used in daily chemical products.

8.Non-toxic and non-irritating

Usage method:

1.Direct addition method: Add into the system in the form of dry powder directly then mix evenly. In general, the addition amount is 0.2-0.5% of the total amount of the system; in water suspension system, add before high-speed stirring or grinding. The addition amount is generally 0.5-2% of the total amount of the system.

2. Pregel method: In aqueous suspension system, add 10 - 12% solid content to a certain amount of water, after 20-30 minutes of high-speed dispersion, place it statically, then, add pregel according to the computed amount of the clients product formulation system. Pregel method can effectively prevent the phenomenon of thickening after the system.
